| Harold Van Roy, a local businessman who rehearses an orchestra, was faced with a continual clean-up problem at the refreshment counter of his music studio after each rehearsal session. There were messy wet spoons, open jars, spilled creamer and sugar packets left behind. Tiring of cleaning it, Harold whom is also an inventor set out to design a dispenser that would dispense dry granular powders. So, Walla out of necessity Harold developed "Instant Joy" an instant metered serving dispenser. His wife says,she was very happy about this, because little did Harold know, she was tired of cleaning up after his kitchen counter mess at home. They give it the name "Instant Joy" Instant because it's 8 times faster than opening jars, using spoons and packets. The Joy. because its so easy to use and keeps countertops clean and neat!
They themselves, some of their friends and relatives used the prototypes for about six months and they worked so well with a variety of dry powders, that Harold decided to patent and manufacture it. This clever unit dispenses coffee, cappuccino, cream, sugar, tea, cocoa, powdered health, kids drinks etc., in metered form. One turn of the finger grip delivers one half teaspoon into a cup or glass. This of course means, your preferred taste is determined by the number of turns.
Much thought, time and effort was put into developing this unique attractive dispenser.
It has been FDA approved and stands alone on the countertop, mounts under a cabinet, or on the walt (wall bracket is included). Great for limited space areas, work place or home. The healthy alternative to keeping germs from spreading. It is currently being used with much joy by the customers at Wells Fargo Bank in Vista.
It was selected as one of the top 20 products out of over 600 entries in "The Quest for America's Best - QVC's 50-in-50 Tour," and received congratulations from the California Trade and Commerce Agency in December of 1997. |
